Connect Your Calendar
already.events syncs with Google Calendar to display your events on any website. Here's how to connect your calendar.
Go to already.events and click Get started to create an account. Sign in with Google, with an email and password, or with a magic link sent to your email. If you sign in with Google, you can also import your Google calendars from the Calendars page.
Add a calendar
Once you're in the dashboard, go to Calendars and click Add Calendar. You can:
- Paste a Google Calendar link — any sharing link, embed link, or iCal URL works
- Enter a calendar ID — the email-style ID from your Google Calendar settings (e.g.
abc123@group.calendar.google.com) - Import from your account — browse and select from calendars you have access to
Your calendar's events will start syncing immediately. Events update automatically when you make changes in Google Calendar — typically within a few minutes.
Calendar visibility
Public calendars work by link or ID. To make a Google calendar public:
- Open Settings for the calendar
- Under Access permissions, check Make available to public
- Copy the Calendar ID from the Integrate calendar section
For a private calendar, sign in with Google and click Connect your Google Calendars in the Add Calendar dialog to grant read-only access, then pick the calendar from the list. You can also paste the calendar's secret iCal address.
Next steps
Once your calendar is connected, create a view to configure how your events are displayed.
