Layouts
Layouts control how event cards are rendered in grid and list views. Choose the layout that best matches the type of events you're showing.
Available layouts
Clean (default)
The minimal layout. Shows the event image, title, date, and location. Works well for any type of calendar.
Hero
A bold layout with a large image, uppercase title, and a description preview. Great for events with strong visual content like concerts, conferences, or art shows.
Badge
Overlays a date badge on the event image, with tags and an RSVP-style footer. A good fit for community events and recurring meetups.
Compact
A dense, text-focused layout with no image and an inline date badge. Ideal for calendars with many events where scanning quickly matters more than visual presentation.
Choosing a layout
You can set the layout in the dashboard when editing a view. The live preview updates as you switch between options so you can compare them side by side.
All four layouts work with all four palettes. The layout controls the card structure, while the palette controls the colors and typography.
Orientation
Grid and list views support vertical (default) and horizontal card orientation. Horizontal mode places the image to the side of the text instead of above it. The compact layout always uses vertical orientation.
When using horizontal orientation, you can choose the image position: left, right, or alternating (images alternate sides for visual variety).
